Coco Gauff vs Belinda Bencic Prediction

Coco Gauff overcame more serving troubles to see off Maria Sakkari in the third round, and now finds herself in the round of 16 at Indian Wells for a third year in a row.

Although the American's serve wasn't quite as fallible as it was in her second-round contest against Moyuka Uchijima, where she recorded an almost unfathomable 21 double faults, she still registered nine against Sakkari and it is clearly an area she is struggling with that the moment.

Belinda Bencic has enjoyed an excellent 2025 to date and continued her impressive form with a straight-sets win over potential stumbling block Diana Schnaider last time out.

The Swiss star is playing with plenty of confidence right now having won the Abu Dhabi Open last month, and she does have recent experience of pushing Gauff given that she took her to three sets in the fourth round of the Australian Open in January.

A repeat outcome would be no surprise here as Gauff is vulnerable at the moment, so consider back over 2.5 sets.
