Hull FC Team News: Strong 21-man squad named by new coach John Cartwright

Hull FC will be hoping for a much-improved season in 2025 and their new recruits will look to make an impact. Head coach John Cartwright has brought in a number of new faces and he is expected to handed league debuts to Jordan Rapana, Zak Hardaker, Aidan Sezer and Amir Bourouh.  Fellow newcomer Oliver Holmes is ruled out through injury and they have a couple of other absentees but the squad looks stronger on paper than it was last year.

Squad: Jordan Rapana, Harvey Barron, Zak Hardaker, Tom Briscoe, Aidan Sezer, Herman Ese’ese, Amir Bourouh, Ligi Sao, Jed Cartwright, Jordan Lane, John Asiata, Cade Cust, Yusuf Aydin, Jack Ashworth, Brad Fash, Lewis Martin, Logan Moy, Denive Balmforth, Ryan Westerman, Callum Kemp, Hugo Salabio

Catalans Dragons vs Hull FC Prediction

Hull FC will be hoping to fare much better in 2025 and they look to have made some positive changes with a new coach and a number of new faces in the squad.

They have been handed an incredibly tough opening match however to get underway as they make the difficult trip to France to face the Dragons.

Catalans were disappointing last season by their recent lofty standards and they will be fired up to do much better this time around.

They are without a couple of players but they have a point to prove. Expect them to start fast and get an opening-day win under their belts. A relatively safe one to add to your accumulator.
