Casper Ruud vs Andrey Rublev Prediction

Casper Ruud has been in fine form this week and the Danish star comes into this final group-stage match knowing he just has to win a set to overtake Carlos Alcaraz and seal second place regardless of the outcome of this match.

Ruud has been playing really well but he will not have an easy time against Rublev who has dominated their previous meetings winning five of the seven.

Rublev has lost his opening two matches but still have an outside chance of reaching the semis. He has to win in straight sets and then beat Alcaraz on the head-to-head but that will not be easy.

Ruud will be full of confidence coming into this one based on how he has been playing this week and we can see him getting the set he needs to qualify for the semi-finals. The only fear is that he eases off the gas if he wins one, but if he does, there is just as much risk that Rublev loses focus too. We expect Ruud to get the win.
