Carlos Alcaraz vs Hubert Hurkacz Prediction

Carlos Alcaraz is finding some serious form this week and he won his second consecutive match losing just three total games as he won 6-2 6-1 against Pedro Martinez – the same scoreline which he beat Andrea Vavassori in the round of 16.

While the quality of opponents has not been elite, it has helped Alcaraz fine tune his game and he will now hope to continue that against Polish star Hubert Hurkacz.

Hurkacz has had arguably the toughest run to the semi-finals of any of the final four as the big Pole has faced some talented opponents. He opened up with a win over Flavio Cobolli and then picked up a walkover win against Jiri Lehecka. He then faced fourth-seed Andrey Rublev in the quarter-finals on Friday and had to come from a set down to win in three in what was a high-quality affair.

It will be interesting to see if he still has enough in the tank as he will need to be ready for another battle with Alcaraz. The Spaniard has that bit between his teeth this week and we like his chances here. He should be able to generate enough on Hurkacz’s powerful serve to create enough openings and take the win.
