Camilo Ugo Carabelli vs Radu Albot prediction

Camilo Ugo Carabelli is seeded eighth and will hope for a decent run as he begins his European clay court season.  He is coming off the back of a fine showing in Miami, where he advanced through to the third round of the competition from qualifying, beating Alex Michelsen on the way, before losing out to Novak Djokovic.

He enjoyed a successful South American swing on the clay too, winning the Rosario Challenger with a fine win over Hugo Dellien in the final before reaching the semi-finals of both the Rio and Chile Open, losing to compatriot Sebastian Baez on each occasion.

Romanian Radu Albot has advanced through as a lucky loser after losing to Timofey Skatov in straight sets in qualifying. He lost to the same opponent at the Girona Challenger just days earlier after defeating Albert Ramos Vinolas in the first round.

Ugo Carabelli has already shown his quality on the clay this season and should prove to be too good for Albot.
