Camilla Rosatello vs Alycia Parks prediction

Camilla Rosatello is playing her first WTA event in over two months but managed to make it through qualifying to enter the main draw. She beat compatriot Nuria Brancaccio in three sets to make it here and will aim for an encouraging run. 

That may be difficult as she’s up against sixth seed Alycia Parks in the first-round. However, Parks made a very disappointing start to her clay court season with a straight sets loss to compatriot Iva Jovic in the first stage of Copa Colsanitas.

The American hasn’t reached the heights that she managed in her first tournament of the year in Auckland. Parks defeated the likes of Amanda Anisimova and Katie Volynets to make the semi-finals but hasn’t advanced to the round of 16 in a tournament since then.

We think that might change with a win over Rosatello. The Italian will be boosted by her two victories in qualifying and might take a set off her opponent, but we think Parks is good value to win in three sets.
