Cameron Norrie vs Gabriel Diallo prediction

Cameron Norrie is eyeing his best run of the season as he prepares to face lucky loser Gabriel Diallo in the third round. 

The former British number one has been plummeting down the rankings in recent months but with Carlos Alcaraz withdrawing through injury, his side of the draw has opened up. 

Norrie secured a superb 2-6 6-4 6-0 win over Jiri Lehecka last time out while Diallo took down fellow lucky loser Kamil Majchrzak in a deciding set. 

This will be their first meeting with the fast conditions possibly suiting the 6ft 8 Canadian more, but Norrie has reached this stage on his three visits to the Spanish capital and it could be fourth time lucky in terms of him reaching the round of 16.
