Cam Norrie has not had the best of starts to 2025 after being eliminated in his opening match ion both the Australian Open and the ASB Classic. He can however take heart from the couple of wins he produced in Hong Kong in the first tournament of the year as he now gets his campaign underway in Dallas.

He has always enjoyed the hard-court season in the States and he has reached a number of finals both on the Challenger and the ATP Tour so he will be hoping to do well this week.

He has been handed a tough opening match however in Dallas as he faces Alex Michelsen. The 20-year-old has started 2025 in fine form and will be full of confidence heading into this tournament. He made it through three rounds in the Australian Open eliminating two seeds in Stefanos Tsitsipas and Karen Khachanov in the process.

He now returns to his native America and he will fancy his chances of putting a run together this week. He has never faced Norrie before so he may find the left-handed Brit a little quirky to get accustomed to, but he should have too much quality once he does.
