Bryce Mitchell: Return to action after a year out for Mitchell
Bryce Mitchell (16-2) enjoyed a stunning start to life as a professional MMA fighter winning his first 15 fights but he has since lost two of his last three. His first loss was inflicted by current champion Ilia Topuria in December 2022 and after a decision win over Dan Ige, he then suffered a knockout at the hands of Josh Emmett. That was a year ago and now he returns looking to get back on track in the featherweight division.
Kron Gracie: Brazilian under pressure after successive losses
Kron Gracie (5-2) comes into this bout under a degree of pressure after losing his last two fights and being criticised by Dana White for looking ‘very limited’ in his last bout. After reeling off five successive wins to start his MMA career, Gracia has seen two decisions go against him unanimously against Cub Swanson and then Charles Jourdain last time out. The fight against Jourdain was his last MMA fight and is his only one in the last five years.
Bryce Mitchell vs Kron Gracie Prediction
On paper this is one of the more one-sided bouts according to the bookies with Bryce Mitchell heavily favoured and it is easy to see why based on Kron Gracie’s last couple of bouts and his inactivity.
It has not been plain sailing for Mitchell in recent times but he has still been fighting at a much higher level than Gracie.
It is hard to make a case for Gracie here in any shape or form and we strongly like Mitchell to get the win either by submission, or most likely by points.
