Brisbane Broncos vs Sydney Roosters prediction
The Brisbane Broncos will tackle the Sydney Roosters for the second time this season. In round one the Broncos were irresistible as they put 50 on the board and look like surefire premiership contenders. They have been consistent since a hiccup in Canberra without being spectacular. Against the West Tigers last week, a scoring avalanche either side of half-time saw them record a comfortable victory.
The Sydney Roosters turn to youth in this match up. With Townsend excluded from the 17, Head coach Trent Robinson is asking a lot of his young halves pairing. The Roosters have yet to put their best 17 on the park and this trip north will prove to be their toughest test of the year to date.
The Roosters have won five of the last seven meetings between the two sides, albeit with a very different looking squad. We think this looms as a difficult assignment for the Roosters in Brisbane and the Broncos look like one of the best bets of the round.
