Brisbane Broncos vs Canterbury Bulldogs prediction
The Brisbane Broncos went down narrowly across the Tasman 20-18 thanks to a 50 m penalty goal from the Warriors Luke Metcalfe right on the siren. The Broncos will have to deal with both the travel and the shorter turnaround to face the undefeated Bulldogs who continue to prove difficult to score against.
The Bulldogs asserted themselves as a serious premiership threat with a 32-0 victory against the Rabbitohs in front of a club record 65,000 fans at Homebush. The defensive structure of the Bulldogs has garnered much of the publicity of late however the attacking options also continue to grow, averaging 26 points per match while conceding less than ten.
The Broncos have won seven of their past ten matches against the Bulldogs, facing defeat in Brisbane only twice since 2009. One of those defeats came last year and we think the Bulldogs can make it consecutive wins in Brisbane for the first time since 2008.
