Brest vs Reims Prediction

Stade Brest earned themselves a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Angers at Stade Francies-Le Ble last weekend thanks to goals in either half from Abdallah Sima and Romain Faivre. Brest have been knocked out of both the UEFA Champions League and the Coupe de France recently but they are still in the hunt for a top-half finish in Ligue 1. Luka Elsner was sacked and replaced by Samba Diawara last month with Diawara’s first game being a surprising penalty shootout victory over Angers in the quarter-finals of the cup but their awful league form has continued since then with a loss to Monaco followed up by a 2-0 defeat at home to Auxerre last weekend. Brest, especially with their home advantage, will be expected to come out on top in this one.
