Brendan Dolan vs Lok Yin Lee Prediction

Two-time quarter-finalist Brendan Dolan begins his Ally Pally campaign after a rather inconsistent year on tour which started well but has tapered off in recent months.

‘The History Maker’ began 2024 by reaching the last eight on the World Championship, losing to eventual finalist Luke Littler, before winning Players Championship 10 in May for his first PDC title for almost two years.

The Northern Irishman faces emerging Asian star Lok Yin Lee, who quickly became a crowd favourite in his debut win against Chris Landman on Thursday, firing in over 45% of his doubles in a 3-1 victory for the Hong Kong native.

Lee, a two-time winner on the PDC Asian Tour, has opened up about the financial difficulties that will likely prevent him from entering Q School next month but a win here would do wonders for his prospects from that perspective.

Dolan has not performed well in recent months, and though he should ultimately progress, it surely won’t be a routine victory.
