Brazil vs Colombia Prediction

Although Brazil are down in fifth, unrecognisable territory for them in qualifying, the expanded World Cup means that they sit a lot more comfortably when it comes to their qualification hopes.

Dorival Junior's men hardly inspired much confidence in their last outings - a pair of 1-1 draws with Venezuela and Uruguay in November - but they have at least improved since three straight defeats in late 2023.

Colombia, on the other hand, started the qualification cycle well but have now lost three of their last four games, including both fixtures in November. Their form towards the end of 2024 was a far cry from when they defeated Brazil 2-1 in the reverse fixture in late 2023, which was their first ever victory over the Selecao in qualifying.

The firepower possessed by both teams is undeniable though, with the likes of Luis Diaz and Jhon Duran posing a threat for Colombia while in-form Raphinha is joined by Brazilian pair Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo in the Brazilian attack. With this in mind, consider backing both teams to find the net.
