THE LOWDOWN
Naoya Inoue (21-0) continues to impress and the unbeaten bantamweight will look to defend his WBA and IBF world titles once again. He was a brilliant winner against Michael Dasmarinas back in June, stopping his opponent in just three rounds. That was a destructive performance and the Japanese fighter will take some beating once again owing to his excellent KO record of 18 in 21 bouts.
Aran Dipaen (12-2) has it all to do in what will be his first attempt at claiming a world title. The Thai fighter is powerful having won 11 of his 12 fights by KO but he also has two losses to his name. This is a huge step up in class having fought some underwhelming opponents to date and while he will be game early on, this looks like a very difficult task for the 30-year-old.
THE PREDICTION
The dangerous Naoya Inoue will be confident of defending his two world titles once again as he takes on Aran Dipaen. Inoue is an extremely impressive performer and has won all 21 of his fights so far with 18 of those successes coming by way of KO. That power cannot be overstated and against an opponent with two losses to his name from just 14 fights, it is hard to see beyond the reigning champion winning impressively once again with a stoppage in the first half of the fight on the cards.
