THE PREDICTION

Carlos Adames (22-1) claimed the WBC interim world middleweight title with a KO win over Juan Macias Montiel last time out and will now look to defend that title against Julian Williams (28-3-1). The American avoided a third straight loss as he overcame Rolando Wenceslao Mansilla in his latest bout but his inactivity over the past few years is a worry. He has only fought three times since the start of 2020 and with Adames boasting an excellent KO ratio, with two of Williams’ losses occurring by that method, preference has to be for the man from the Dominican Republic and he can stop his opponent in this one.
