Botic van de Zandschulp had to come through qualifying at the weekend but the Dutchman did so in style winning both matches comfortably. He now faces Jordanian wildcard Abdullah Shelbayh in the first round in what should be an intriguing one to watch.

Shelbayh is a regular on the Challenger Tour and the 21-year-old is coached by Fernando Verdasco. He has four singles titles and four doubles on the ATP Challenger and Futures/ITF World Tennis Tour and he is promising talent.

This will not be an easy task but the left-hander will be incredibly motivated to upset Van de Zandschulp. The Dutchman will not want to be a scalp for the Jordanian and he should have too much for him ultimately.
