Borussia Monchengladbach Team News: Potential striker crisis

Borussia Monchengladbach face doubts over the fitness of two key forwards in Tim Kleindienst and Alassane Plea, which could prove a huge double blow. They will definitely miss Franck Honorat and Rocco Reitz with the latter being suspended.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Nicolas; Scally, Itakura, Elvedi, Ullrich; Sander, Weigl; Ngoumou, Stoger, Hack; Cvancara

Unavailable: Honorat (Injured), Reitz (Suspended)

Questionable: Kleindienst (Injured), Plea (Injured)

Eintracht Frankfurt Team News: Two confirmed out for away side

Eintracht Frankfurt are without centre-back Robin Koch with a shoulder problem and striker Igor Matanovic, who has a foot injury. Both Fares Chaibi and Eric Dina Ebimbe could also miss out through illness and injury respectively.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): Trapp; Collins, Tuta, Theate; Kristensen, Skhiri, Larsson, Brown; Knauff, Ekitike, Gotze

Unavailable: Koch (Injured), Matanovic (Injured)

Questionable: Chaibi (Illness), Dina Ebimbe (Injured)

Borussia Monchengladbach vs Eintracht Frankfurt Prediction

Eintracht Frankfurt will be hoping to get back to winning ways after consecutive draws in the Bundesliga, maintaining their current firm grip on a top four place with the gap currently six points between them and fifth-placed Stuttgart. But against a Borussia Monchengladbach side who have won their last two league matches, that’s easier said than done.

But a critical factor in this encounter could well be the potential absences of both Kleindienst and Plea. To lose either would be a serious blow, to lose both would be disastrous for Gladbach and really tip the scales in Eintracht’s favour. When considering the fitness levels of both, the double chance market may be the way to go here. Specifically backing the visitors to pick up a point if not all three.

Borussia Monchengladbach vs Eintracht Frankfurt Tip: Double chance - draw/Eintracht Frankfurt
