Bodo/Glimt vs Olympiakos Prediction

Kjetil Knutsen’s Bodo/Glimt have punched well above their weight in the last few seasons and the Norwegian giants are looking to do so once again as they now take on an Olympiakos side that are very strong in European competition under Jose Luis Mendilibar.

Bodo/Glimt only have European football to focus on from a competitive point of view with the 2024 Eliteserien season not beginning until later this month. Despite that, they still managed to defeat Dutch side Twente in the knockout playoff round with a 5-2 win after extra-time in the second-leg to complete a 6-4 aggregate victory last month.

Olympiakos were in a bit of disarray when Jose Luis Mendilibar took charge mid-way through last season but he eventually led the Greek giants to UEFA Europa Conference League glory with famous victories over the likes of Aston Villa and Fiorentina. They are now back at the top-of-the-table domestically and finished in the top eight of the league phase of this tournament.

Bodo/Glimt do lack a certain amount of control and up against an Olympiakos side that have proved themselves to be very capable in Europe in the last 12 months, this is a very tough test.

Bodo/Glimt vs Olympiakos Tip: Double chance – Olympiakos to win or draw
