The first fixture of the FA Cup semi-finals takes place this weekend on Saturday 22nd April 2023 between strong favourites Manchester City and underdogs Sheffield United. Currently sat in 2nd place in the Premier League, City have picked up a glistening run of form having won 10 of their last 11 games, including a 7-0 win over RB Leipzig and a 6-0 demolition of Burnley in the FA Cup quarter finals.

Sheffield United have enjoyed a stellar run in the FA Cup this season having brushed aside opposing teams including Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. The Championship side look to be on the brink of automatic promotion to the Premier League this season, currently sitting in 2nd place behind already promoted Burnley.

Manchester City head into this game off the back of a 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich in midweek, progressing to the semi-finals of the Champions League with a 4-1 aggregate score over the course of the two legs.
