Two consecutive losses for the Philadelphia Eagles means that they are yet to secure the number one seed in the NFC. They have picked a bad time to start playing their worst football of the season with the play-offs in sight, but a strong reaction is expected from them in Week 18 at Lincoln Financial Field against the New York Giants. Key to their recent struggles has been the absence of quarterback Jalen Hurts, who missed each of their last two matches. Hurts is expected to be available in Week 18 and with him in the team, Philadelphia Eagles are a significantly stronger all-round offensive unit and will be expected to overcome the Giants.

Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Commanders - 4:25pm ET
Dallas Cowboys have taken full advantage of the Eagles’ recent sticky patch without Jalen Hurts, beating their fierce rivals 40-34 in Week 16 and have since gone on to defeat Tennessee Titans, leaving them still in with a chance of snatching the NFC top seed from Philadelphia in Week 18. They’ll need to overcome Washington Commanders to give themselves a chance of doing so, but when taking into account the form of the Cowboys, who have won six of their last seven games, their offensive play should overwhelm the home team and lead them to another victory here.
Prediction: Dallas Cowboys to cover -9 spread
