Bernarda Pera vs Jana Fett prediction

Bernarda Pera enters the tournament as a lucky loser after losing her final qualifying round in straight sets to Maria Lourdes Carle despite being the number two seed. She is struggling for any kind of form and hasn’t gone beyond the second-round in any tournament so far this season. 

Her clay court campaign hasn’t got going either, as she lost in the first-round in Charleston and Rouen to Sofia Kenin and Linda Noskova respectively. 

Jana Fett won both of her qualifying rounds to make the main draw here. She retired in Antalya midway through her second-round match but had an encouraging run in Stuttgart, winning both of her qualifying rounds and then defeating compatriot Donna Vekic before a loss to Iga Swiatek at the round-of-16 stage.

Fett has five wins from her last six matches and could cause Pera some problems. We’re backing the Croatian to cause something of an upset in three sets and advance to the next round.
