Bayern Munich Preview: Brutal Bavarians
The surprise appointment of Vincent Kompany has been aided by Bayer Leverkusen’s decline in the Bundesliga but also the efficiency of Bayern Munich domestically as they currently sit six points clear at the top-of-the-table in Germany’s top-flight.
Harry Kane notched another hat-trick at the weekend as they defeated Augsburg by three goals to nil at the Allianz Arena at the weekend. They have won two and lost two, against Aston Villa and Barcelona, in their opening four matches of the UEFA Champions League campaign.
PSG Preview: Underperforming in Europe
Luis Enrique has surprisingly signed a new deal in charge of Paris Saint-Germain as the former Barcelona and Spain coach tries to implement his progressive and intense style of football upon to a far more inexperienced and less demanding group of players.
They have found life in Ligue 1 quite comfortable so far this season as they sit at the top-of-the-table without a domestic defeat but the Parisiens do come into this one on the back of collecting just four points from their opening four matches on the continent.

Bayern Munich vs PSG Prediction
Vincent Kompany’s style of football at Burnley helped the Clarets storm to the 2022/23 Championship title with better players playing a fluent style. In the Premier League with weaker players that style struggled and that has perhaps been the case in microcosm for this season with struggles in Europe but enough to blow teams away domestically. PSG need a victory, or at least to avoid defeat, so we may end up with a bit of a stalemate as two sides search for something on the continent.
Bayern Munich vs PSG Tip: Under 2.5 goals
