Bayer Leverkusen vs Augsburg Prediction

Whilst Bayer Leverkusen are not yet out of the race for the Meisterschale, Xabi Alonso’s reigning Bundesliga champions are on the verge of surrendering their crowd after the gap between them and leaders Bayern Munich grew to eight points last weekend. This was due to Leverkusen being held to a 1-1 draw by St. Pauli, their second consecutive draw.

Scoring goals continues to be a problem for them and Augsburg will be well aware that if they set up with bodies behind the ball in disciplined fashion, then it could be a struggle again for the hosts. Each of Leverkusen’s last three games have seen under 2.5 goals scored, as was the case in Augsburg’s last match vs Eintracht Frankfurt. Regardless of who comes out on top here, it would be a surprise if we didn’t see the same outcome.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Augsburg Tip: Under 2.5 goals
