Barcelona Preview: Blaugrana in good form
Despite Pau Cubarsi being sent off mid-way through the first-half, Barcelona managed to pull off a slender 1-0 defeat of Benfica in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie at Estadio da Luz in Lisbon thanks to an excellent winning goal scored by Raphinha.
Last weekend, after a 4-4 draw with Atletico Madrid in the first-leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final at home, Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana annihilated Real Sociedad by four goals to nil as they remain at the top-of-the-table in La Liga ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures.
Osasuna Preview: Entertaining Osasuna
Despite the departure of Jago Arrasate and appointment of Vicente Moreno last summer, Osasuna have been very impressive so far this season as they chase a top seven or eight finish in the European qualification with a surprisingly entertaining style of football.
That entertaining style was clearly shown in their most recent outing as they shared a thrilling 3-3 draw with Valencia at El Sadar in Pamplona last weekend. They went 1-0 down in that game before then going 2-1 and 3-2 up before having to settle for a point against an improved side.
Barcelona Team News: Gavi a doubt
Gavi is a doubt for this weekend due to illness having missed the trip to the Portuguese capital in midweek. They also have a few confirmed long-term absentees for this one, too, such as Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Andreas Christensen and Marc Bernal.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Szczesny; Kounde, Ronald Araujo, Pau Cubarsi, Gerard Martin; Marc Casado, Pedri; Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo, Raphinha; Lewandowski
Unavailable: Ter Stegen (Injured), Christensen (Injured), Marc Bernal (Injured)
Questionable: Gavi (Injured)
Osasuna Team News: Fully fit
Osasuna have a fully fit and available squad for this weekend’s trip to Estadi Olympic Lluis Companys this weekend with no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues so they will be able to name an unchanged eleven for this one.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Sergio Herrera; Jesus Areso, Boyomo, Alejandro Catena, Abel Bretones; Jon Moncayola, Lucas Torro; Raul Garcia, Aimar Oroz, Bryan Zaragoza; Budimir

Barcelona vs Osasuna Prediction
Barcelona have been thrilling to watch throughout this season with the Catalans having scored 165 goals in their 41 matches across all competitions. They face an Osasuna side that like to play on the front foot with an entertaining front four containing Aimar Oroz, Bryan Zaragoza and Croatia international Ante Budimir. Osasuna will therefore look to try and get in behind the Barca high-line, whilst the hosts remain favourites for a potential thriller in Catalonia this weekend.
Barcelona vs Osasuna Tip: Barcelona to win & over 2.5 goals
