Auxerre vs Saint-Etienne Prediction
Auxerre, as mentioned, went into the winter break on the back of some impressive form that propelled them into the top-half of Ligue 1 but the hosts now come into this one on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Angers that means they are now winless in their last seven matches across all competitions. Olivier Dall’Oglio’s Saint-Etienne begin the weekend sitting third-from-bottom and in the relegation playoff place after their 1-1 draw with Nantes but they have proven themselves to be difficult to score against. They have plenty of absentees for this one up against an Auxerre side lacking goals and form so a low-scoring affair seems very likely for this one.
Auxerre vs Saint-Etienne Tip: Under 2.5 goals
