Australia Betting Analysis

On the back of having struck 74 runs over the past two games of this three-match T20i set, stand-in captain Tahlia McGrath will be desperate to deliver at the Adelaide Oval, her home ground which she has already gone public in saying is the best ground in world cricket. Desperate having come in down the order, it’s well worth backing McGrath to register 20+ runs for what would be the third straight game.

England Betting Analysis

The second T20i in Canberra saw Heather Knight took out all her frustrations on the Australian bowlers late on with the bat and gave England at least a chance of a shock victory before the rain denied her. Knight was on 43 not out at the time off just 19 deliveries and could well pick up where she left off here. Consider backing Knight to top-score for the tourists here.

Australia vs England Expert Prediction

England to their credit, showed real fight in the second T20i and their batters in particular stood up to the wave of Australian pressure. Whilst fate conspired to subject them to yet another defeat, they had reason to feel hard done by, due to the bad weather forcing the players off prematurely. However, all that matters is the fifth consecutive loss that goes in the books and leaves Australia just two wins away from a historic sweep.

There is no doubt that Australia are weakened by the unavailability of Alyssa Healy and Ash Gardner, but their overwhelming strength-in-depth is coming to their fore when it matters. Grace Harris made it clear in a post-match interview on Thursday that the hosts want a clean sweep and motivation remains extremely high for them. Backing them continues to be the sensible move.
