Australia Betting Analysis

After a slow start to the multi-format series, Beth Mooney has started to click into gear with back-to-back scores of 50+ runs. Opening the batting in the first T20i, Mooney top-scored with a crucial 75 from 51 balls, laying down the foundations for an eventual winning score of 198. She’s now firmly got the England bowlers in her sights and is looking in ominous form. Back Mooney via the ‘Team - Top Batter’ market to top-score again for Australia here.

England Betting Analysis

It’s been a nightmare tour so far for Maia Bouchier, who has registered just 26 runs across four innings in both 50-over and 20-over cricket. The England opener comes into this next match on the back of consecutive ducks and has to be quite frank, looked out of her depth over the course of this Ashes series so far. Bouchier is stuck in a downward spiral right now and it’s worth backing that to continue, specifically through a stake on her to score under 15.5 match runs.

Australia vs England Expert Prediction

Even despite being without captain Alyssa Healy and all-rounder Ash Gardner through injuries, Australia still managed to cut through England in the opening T20i to ensure the Women’s Ashes will remain down under. But this is a ruthless Aussie side and they’ll have their minds set on subjecting their fierce rivals to historic 16-0 humiliation. Don’t expect them to slow down now that the Ashes have been retained.

England’s camp feels broken. The players are clearly hurting mentally and all the outside noise regarding their fitness levels won’t have helped. The inclusion of Sophia Dunkley gave them a boost in Sydney and her brutal 59 served as a counter-punch. But she had no support and with so many England players not playing to the required standard with bat, ball and especially in the field, this team are simply nowhere near as good as Australia. Back the home team to stick the knife further in and secure an unassailable 10-0 series lead with two games left to play.
