Atalanta vs Cagliari Prediction

Atalanta suffered a 2-1 defeat to Club Brugge in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout playoff round tie in midweek with Ferran Jutgla scoring a second-half stoppage-time winner for the Belgians at the Janbreydelstadion. The Bergamasci begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting five points off top spot but have endured a difficult run of form with that 2-1 loss in Belgium meaning that they have now managed just three victories in their last 12 matches across all competitions. They now face a Cagliari side that most recently defeated Parma by two goals to one to lift themselves towards the middle-of-the-table. The Sardinians are expected to still be involved in a relegation battle throughout the campaign so this one may end up being a hard-fought victory but Atalanta are still expected to come out on top, especially at the Gewiss Stadium.

Atalanta vs Cagliari Tip: Atalanta to win & under 3.5 goals
