Aston Villa Preview: Struggling for form
The concern at the start of this season was that Aston Villa’s squad would be too shallow to deal with both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League. The Villains had a strong start before the fixture began piling up and that was much-needed as their form declines.
They come into this one on the back of a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at Villa Park at the weekend. That result ended a four-match losing streak across all competitions but they are now winless in their last six matches.
Juventus Preview: New look for the Old Lady
With Juventus undergoing a makeover over the summer with a younger and more dynamic squad being coached by Thiago Motta, who led Bologna to a fifth place finish in Serie A last season and their first UEFA Champions League qualification in over 60 years.
The style of football implemented into the Bianconeri has been clear but they have lacked for goals and precision in the final third. They come into this on the back of another goalless draw in Italy against AC Milan with six wins and seven draws in their 13 Serie A matches.

Aston Villa vs Juventus Prediction
Aston Villa have been lacklustre in the last few weeks with a lack of control at both ends of the pitch. Their lack of consistency can be drawn to the amount of football that they are playing at the moment so qualifying for the knockout stages quickly in order to rotate in the final few rounds of the UEFA Champions League league phase is imperative. Juventus have been easy on the eye but lacked a cutting edge so a point may be suitable for both sides at Villa Park.
