Aryna Sabalenka vs Qinwen Zheng Prediction

Aryna Sabelenka has looked a determined player so far this week, and is clearly channelling her frustration from losing the recent Indian Wells Open final to teenage sensation Mirra Andreeva. The world number one is yet to drop a set in Miami and most recently defeated local hope Danielle Collins in straight sets, serving seven aces in the process.

This is Sabalenka’s third quarter-final appearance at the Miami Open, although she has never progressed beyond this stage, losing to champion Ashleigh Barty in 2021, and Sorana Cirstea two years later.

Qinwen Zheng failed to make much of an impression at the beginning of 2025 but, after reaching the quarter-finals in Indian Wells, has now matched that run in Miami.

The Chinese star has eliminated three Americans so far, recording straight-set victories over Lauren Davis, Taylor Townsend and Ashlyn Krueger to get to this stage.
