World number one Aryna Sabalenka has hardly been troubled this week as she has cantered to five straight-sets wins en route to the final.

She dropped just five games against eighth seed Mirra Andreeva in the semis on Saturday and now she will fully expect to get the win and her first title of 2025 under her belt.

She meets Polina Kudermetova who is ranked just outside the top 100 but has enjoyed a fantastic week in Australia so far.

She has beaten some quality players including Daria Kasatkina and Liudmila Samsonova, and her confidence will be sky high coming into this final.

She simply has nothing to lose in this final but Sabalenka is on a different planet to most right now. Polina Kudermetova will likely be unable to take advantage of any complacency if it does creep in and another straight-sets win is on the cards for Sabalenka.
