Aryna Sabalenka vs Jasmine Paolini Prediction
Aryna Sabalenka is more fired up than ever after losing to Mirra Andreeva in the final at Indian Wells and she has been ruthless so far in Miami. She comes off yet another straight-sets win over Qinwen Zheng in the quarter-finals maintaining her record of not having dropped a set so far in four rounds.
She now takes on sixth-seed Jasmine Paolini in what will be a tough test. The pair have met five times before with Sabalenka edging the head-to-head 3-2 but Sabalenka has won the last two matches in 2023 and 2024.
Paolini is enjoying her time in Miami and has been playing some good tennis so far. The smiley Italian has looked pretty comfortable throughout and comes off a win over Magda Linette in the quarters. While she has played some quality opponents like Linette, Jabeur and Osaka, none have been seeded.
Sabalenka on the other hand has eliminated 14th seed Danielle Collins and ninth-seed Qinwen Zheng with relative ease.
It is Sabalenka who has to be favoured when to win here especially with this focus and determination she has. She will be desperate to get another title after seeing Indian Wells slip away in the final and we do not see Paolini being able to stop her making another final.
