Arthur Rinderknech vs Casper Ruud Prediction

It has not been the easiest of starts to 2025 for Arthur Rinderknech as the Frenchman has only managed to win two of the eight matches he has played on the ATP Tour and he will be hoping to get some momentum going and a win under his belt in Acapulco.

That will be easier said than done however as he has been drawn against second seed Casper Ruud and he has never beaten the Danish star previously. They have met twice and Ruud has comfortably won both in straight sets.

Ruud taken a couple of weeks off following the Dallas Open but he can take plenty of positives from his performances in that tournament. He went all the way to the final before losing to an inspired Denis Shapovalov but the 26-year-old will be happy with how he is playing at the moment.

This is the warm-up tournament ahead of the Sunshine Double but he will want to get some wins this week and take some momentum into those. This clash with Rinderknech offers him the perfect chance to get a win under his belt.
