Arthur Fils vs Lorenzo Musetti Prediction

It has not been a great start to 2025 for Arthur Fils but the talented 20-year-old often needs that edge in his game to perform and he has not really had that so far. He was written off by many coming into this tournament based on his form and many thought Gabriel Diallo would beat him in his opening match but Fils produced the goods and won 6-2 6-2.

It was a decent performance considering he did not serve a single ace, but Diallo only won eight points on Fils’ serve which shows how poor he was.

Fils now takes on Lorenzo Musetti and he can expect a much stiffer test against the Italian. Musetti had a tough match against Roman Safiullin on Friday but won 7-5 5-7 6-2 in what was an entertaining encounter.

They have met once before and Musetti won that clash on clay in Monte Carlo last year. This will be a totally different match though.

We struggle to see either player grabbing control of this match and dominating and it will be quite a battle. We see a long drawn-out match here and with no preference on either player, we like the look of overs in game betting.
