Arsenal Preview: A last push
As we head into the final nine games of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, Arsenal, sort of in a title race for the third successive season, begin the match day sitting 12 points behind champions-elect Liverpool and the Gunners will hope for a final push, albeit most likely forlorn.
They do have a crucial UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie against defending European champions Real Madrid in April to look forward to but they will still need to take this seriously to discover some much-needed fluency and consistency, particularly in attack.
Fulham Preview: Frustration for Fulham
Fulham were left immensely frustrated at the weekend. Once again, they enjoyed a good cup run under Marco Silva but the Cottagers, yet to ever win a major honour, exited at the quarter-final stage of the FA Cup due to a 3-0 loss at home to Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Emblematic of their campaign, the west Londoners have been generally strong and widely viewed as having a good season but they have put in some real shockers in terms of performances. They could still, though, finish in the top five in the league this season.
Arsenal Team News: Saka is back
Bukayo Saka has returned to training for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta, in his pre-match press conference, confirmed that the England international was in fact ready to start. They remain without several other key first-teamers such as Gabriel Jesus as well as Kai Havertz and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Predicted XI (4-3-3): Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli
Unavailable: Tomiyasu (Injured), Calafiori (Injured), Havertz (Injured), Jesus (Injured)

Fulham Team News: Some 'normal knocks'
Following their defeat to Crystal Palace at the weekend, Marco Silva confirmed that the Cottagers are dealing with some 'normal knocks' in the aftermath. Kenny Tete has returned to training but wasn't deemed fit enough for the match day squad at the weekend, whilst both Harry Wilson and Reiss Nelson are sidelined.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Lukic; Iwobi, Pereira, Willian; Jimenez
Unavailable: Wilson (Injured), Nelson (Injured)
Questionable: Tete (Fitness)
Arsenal vs Fulham Prediction
Arsenal have lacked fluency throughout this season but Mikel Arteta’s strengths as a coach have been his ability to control games and their impressive defence remains strong with the best defensive record in the league, conceding just 24 goals. That said, Fulham, desperately needing a response and looking for European qualification, may well prove to be a good threat on the counter-attack in north London. The Gunners are favourites but it may not be a comfortable win for the hosts.
Arsenal vs Fulham Tip: Arsenal to win & both teams to score
