ST HELENS

  • The Saints lost to arch rivals Wigan on Good Friday but their hopes were dealt an early blow by the controversial sending off of Kyle Amor though there were positives to take from the game.
  • Despite receiving a red card in the defeat to Wigan, Kyle Amor is in the squad and his appeal will be heard on Wednesday so he should be available to play here.
  • Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Ryan Morgan and Jonny Lomax all drop out of the 19-man squad for this game with Matty Fleming, Dominique Peyroux and Ricky Bailey coming in for the absent trio.

CASTLEFORD TIGERS

  • Super League leaders Castleford go from strength to strength as they come off a comprehensive win over Yorkshire rivals Wakefield in a game in which they were able to coast through the second half.
  • Captain Michael Shenton returns after suffering from back spasms and he comes in for Joel Monaghan which is a big boost to the side and highlights the depth and quality in their squad.
  • Cas' strong start to the season has been helped by the fast starts they have been making in matches as they have led at half-time in all of their Super League matches so far this season.

Analysis - what to expect
The big question coming into this game is whether St Helens can halt this irresistible Cas attack and that will be a major challenge after playing most of the game against Wigan with just 12 men. Castleford on the other hand were able to ease past Wakefield and with the extra energy, they should be able to compound Saints' current misery.
