PREDICTION
Under new manager Paul Lambert, Stoke have been hard to beat as of late but unfortunately there have been a few too many draws for their liking as they currently find themselves second bottom in the Premier League table.
Pep Guardiola's Manchester City even made Chelsea look ordinary in their last league outing as Antonio Conte’s plan to stifle this scintillating City side backfired. Whether Stoke deploy the same game plan remains to be seen, but you would imagine the outcome to be the same as the champions elect move one step closer to the title.
MEMORABLE MEETING
The 2011 FA Cup final paired Stoke and Manchester City together at Wembley and it was Roberto Mancini’s City side who went on to lift the trophy that afternoon. It was a game that offered up only a single goal throughout the 90 minutes as it was left to Yaya Toure to make the headlines as his strike was enough for him and his teammates to lift the coveted piece of silverware at the final whistle.
