Manchester City made light work of FC Basel when the two sides met at St. Jakob Park in the first leg of this Champions League round of 16 tie. Pep Guardiola’s men go into this second leg at the Etihad with a 4-0 lead and have all but secured a place in the next round of the competition.
With such a comfortable advantage at Manchester City’s disposal, it could well mean that City are rested and rotated, but regardless of the starting eleven that is named you cannot envisage Raphael Wicky’s players causing the runaway Premier League leaders any issues at the Etihad.
