The Lowdown
NOVAK DJOKOVIC
- Djokovic overcame an injury scare to defeat Albert Ramos-Vinolas in three sets in the third round as his comeback gains momentum.
- The Serb has played down the leg issue which troubled him on Saturday and he will need to be fully fit in order to get past an opponent who has played some inspired tennis so far.
HYEON CHUNG
- Chung prevailed in an epic battle with fellow 'Next Gen' star Alexander Zverev in the third round, coming from two sets to one behind to win in five sets.
- The Korean's only previous meeting with Djokovic was at this tournament in 2016 when he lost in straight sets but his game has come on leaps and bounds since then.
The Statistics
The Prediction
Some doubts remain over Djokovic's fitness and it could well be that his lack of competitive tennis since Wimbledon last year is catching up with him. He will certainly not have it easy against an opponent who will be full of confidence after eliminating fourth seed Zverev on Saturday so this could be a topsy-turvy affair that goes the distance. Much will depend on Djokovic's condition but if that holds up, the six-time champion may just have enough.
