THE TEAM NEWS

LONDON BRONCOS

Head Coach: Danny Ward

Squad: Abdull, Adebiyi, Battye, Butler, Cunningham, Dixon, Fleming, Gee, Ioane, Kear, Lovell, Morgan, Pelissier, Pitts, Richards, Smith, Walker, Williams, Yates

Unavailable: Matty Fozard, Olsi Krasniqi

  • London enjoyed the week off after they were knocked out of the Challenge Cup in the previous round as they look to end their losing run against a team they have already defeated this season.

  • The Broncos haven't won in eight matches in all competitions and have moved to sign former player Olsi Krasniqi from Toronto although he must wait for his second debut for the club.

  • London head coach Danny Ward has made just one change to the last squad he selected against Wigan over two weeks ago with Matty Gee returning to the 19 in place of Daniel Hindmarsh.

WAKEFIELD TRINITY

Head Coach: Chris Chester

Squad: Annakin, Batchelor, Caton-Brown, Crowther, Fifita, Hampshire, Hirst, Horo, Jones-Bishop, Jowitt, King, Kirmond, Kopczak, Lyne, Miller, Randell, Reynolds, Sa’u, Wood

Unavailable: Craig Huby, Tom Johnstone, Danny Brough, Anthony England, Joe Arundel, Matty Ashurst, Tinirau Arona

  • Wakefield were comfortable victors over Widnes in the Challenge Cup and will now be looking for some more consistency in Super League after two wins and two losses in their last four league matches.

  • Trinity will hope hooker Tyler Randell will be back in contention for a place in the side after he missed the Widnes game with him again featuring in the 19-man squad for this game whilst captain Jacob Miler will come straight back into the side following a spell on the sidelines.

  • Wakefield moved to bolster their options in the outside backs this week as they signed Junior Sa’u on a one-month loan deal from Salford with Pauli Pauli going in the opposite direction he is likely to make his debut for Trinity in this game.

THE PREDICTION

London defeated Wakefield in their first game back in Super League but have won just two further league games since. Wakefield on the other hand find themselves competing for the top five despite missing numerous players through injury and should win this one. They are slowly getting numbers back and have added Junior Sa’u this week which should help them in the three-quarters. London will hope their extended period without a game can allow them to play with more energy than their opponents but it isn’t likely to be enough to earn them the win.
