THE TEAM NEWS
LEEDS RHINOS
Head Coach: David Furner
Squad: T. Briscoe, Cuthbertson, Donaldson, Dwyer, Handley, Jones-Buchanan, Lolohea, McLelland, Merrin, Myler, Newman, Oledzki, Parcell, Singleton, Smith, L. Sutcliffe, Trout, Walker, Watkins
Unavailable: Dom Crosby, Stevie Ward, Carl Ablett, Tom Holroyd, Ava Seumanufagai, Brett Ferres, Wellington Albert, Nathaniel Peteru, Konrad Hurrell
- Leeds failed to back-up their solid win over Huddersfield on Good Friday as Wakefield brought them back down to earth on Easter Monday and now face fellow relegation rivals Hull KR.
- Just two points separate the Rhinos from their opponents here with Leeds able to leapfrog them with a win but they will be without in-form centre Konrad Hurrell who will miss his second game with a hamstring injury.
- The Rhinos are also without Brett Ferres and Wellington Albert through injury whilst Nathaniel Peteru is suspended but are boosted by the return of Adam Cuthbertson, Jack Walker and Cameron Smith.
HULL KR
Head Coach: Tim Sheens
Squad: Addy, Atkin, Crooks, Drinkwater, Hall, Harrison, Hauraki, Keinhorst, Lannon, Lawler, Linnett, Lunt, Maria, McGuire, Mulhern, Oakes, Shaw, Tomkins, Vaivai
Unavailable: Adam Quinlan, Nick Scruton, James Greenwood, Mose Masoe, Mitch Garbutt, Lee Jewitt, Tommy Lee
- Hull KR conceded 50 points in consecutive games over the Easter period as Warrington secured the same feat as Hull FC on Easter Monday with the Robins now travelling to Headingley in a hugely important contest at the bottom of the table.
- Mitch Garbutt will be sidelined for the next six weeks to leave Rovers extremely light in the pack with Lee Jewitt also out along with hooker Tommy Lee but they have brought in Antoni Maria on a one-month loan from Catalans to boost their options.
- Influential pair Danny McGuire and Shaun Lunt also return to the 19-man squad that was beaten by Warrington although the latter remains a doubt having suffered a knock in the Hull derby.
THE PREDICTION
Hull KR suffered the worst Easter of any side in Super League with two massive losses whilst they also picked up some injuries in the process. They travel to Leeds for a huge relegation four-pointer with the win vitally important for both teams but the Rhinos should have enough to win on home soil. Leeds will feel they did enough to beat Wakefield on Easter Monday but couldn’t turn possession into points as Trinity held firm but a similar amount of ball here will prove too much for Rovers’ porous defence to deal with.
