  • Australia come into this game knowing that they need to beat Peru and hope that France can do them a favour against Denmark, so they are clear about what is required from them here.
  • Nabbout has picked up a shoulder injury and will miss the rest of the tournament so that will hand an opening to Juric up front, but this has been an area of weakness for them as they have not been clinical in front of goal.
  • Van Marwijk has been happy with the performances of his side so he could well name an unchanged team other than the one switch which means Tim Cahill is unlikely to feature other than as a late substitute.

  • The likes of Ruidiaz, Hurtado and Polo could all be given an opportunity as they try to ensure they do not go home empty handed, while veteran skipper Guerrero will likely lead the attack once again.
