Angola vs Cabo Verde Prediction

These are two sides that have enjoyed impressive showings at recent CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournaments with both trying to play a progressive style of football and they are both firmly in contention for FIFA World Cup qualification in Group D alongside Cameroon and Libya.

The Angolans, under the management of Pedro Goncalves, have remained unbeaten in their opening five matches of the campaign but they have managed just one victory in those games. They most recently shared a 1-1 draw with the aforementioned Libya in which Fredy scored a second-half stoppage-time equaliser for them at the Martyrs of February Stadium.

They now face a Cabo Verde side that have got some pedigree within their squad and have, as mentioned, enjoyed impressive results and performances in recent years. They are the team sitting at the top of the group above Cameroon, having most recently edged past Mauritius by a goal to nil the other day.

Neither side are currently able to play with the fluency that they do intend to but that means it could all come out in this game with both teams scoring looking a good bet for this one.
