Angers vs Toulouse Prediction
Following their promotion back to the top-flight last season, Angers struggled quite badly at the start of this season but have more than steadied themselves and have been competitive for the last few months, looking likely to avoid the drop at this stage. They were beaten by Stade de Reims via a penalty shootout in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France in midweek. They now face a Toulouse side that, under the management of Carlos Martinez Novell, sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table and they did earn themselves a much-needed 4-1 hammering of struggling Le Havre at Stade Oceane last week. It is unlikely to be as high-scoring this time around and, as is Angers’ general prerogative, a low-scoring affair seems likely for this one.
Angers vs Toulouse Tip: Under 2.5 goals
