Angers vs Auxerre Prediction

Angers returned from the Ligue 1 winter break with an impressive 2-0 defeat at home to overachievers Stade Brest before then comfortably defeating Montpellier Herault by three goals to one. Then, in midweek, they defeated Quevilly-Rouen by three goals to two in the Round of 32 in the Coupe de France. They have moved themselves into the middle-of-the-table as they now prepare to face an Auxerre side that were sat tucked inside the top-half ahead of the winter break. They were beaten 3-1 by Strasbourg in Alsace before then sharing an impressive goalless draw with Lille at Stade de l’Abbe Deschamps last weekend, despite being down to ten men for over half an hour due to Paul Joly’s red card. This one is an evenly matched contest and a low-scoring affair is to be expected at Stade Raymond Kopa.

Angers vs Auxerre Tip: Under 2.5 goals
