Anderlecht vs Porto Prediction

Anderlecht have enjoyed a fantastic start to their Europa League league phase with three wins and a draw from their opening four matches. The draw was pretty favourable to them on the whole but their win in their second match in San Sebastian against Real Sociedad was particularly impressive.

Their form in all competitions has also been incredibly strong of late having won four of their last five matches and scoring 20 goals in the process.

This will be a stern test of their credentials against a talented Porto team however.

This match in Belgium will be Porto's fourth successive away match and they have lost their three games which have all come on their travels. They lost in their last Europa League match in Rome to Lazio and then were beaten by rivals Benfica in the league. They were upset in the Portuguese Cup at the weekend away to Moreirense however and that will have been a particularly big disappointment.

So they come into this match low on confidence and they need a win after just four points from their opening four matches.

Their games have been pretty open encounters and we think this one could follow suit. Porto are a little unpredictable at the moment but we expect both teams to score in this one.
