The second of a Saturday Night Football double-header sees Green Bay Packers host Carolina Panthers in a contest that could yield plenty of points. The Packers secured their spot in the play-offs with a hard-fought win over Detroit Lions last week which moved Green Bay to 10-3 and they will now have their sights set on claiming the #1 seed in the NFC. 4-9 Carolina Panthers had little trouble posting points once again last week but it was their defense that let them down as they were defeated by Denver Broncos. They are likely to run the ball a lot against the Packers’ poor run defense but that is unlikely to be enough to topple the Packers who should win a contest that produces at least 50 points.
