Alexander Zverev will relatively content with his performances so far in Rio as he has won both matches in straight sets against Yunchaokete Bu and Alexander Shevchenko.

The competition will ramp up from this round onwards however and he faces a tough quarter-final match as he meets Argentine Francisco Comesana.

The 24-year-old was disappointed to be knocked out in the first round of his native Argentina Open last week at the hands of Mariano Navone but he has looked decent so far this week. His win over Nicolas Jarry in the round of 16 on Wednesday was particularly impressive as he eliminated the sixth seed 7-6 6-7 7-6.

The Argentine will likely pose Zverev more problems than his previous two opponents but we see Zverev just creating more opportunities on the Comesana serve than vice versa. Expect Zverev to get the win here.
