Alexander Zverev vs Alexandre Muller prediction

Alexander Zverev fell to yet another early defeat this season, as he lost to Matteo Berrettini in the second-round of Monte-Carlo. His form since making the final of the Australian Open has been alarming, with just two quarter-final appearances since then. 

The German has spoken of his bewilderment at how his level has dropped since such a strong start to the year, but he now must regroup ahead of the BMW Open in his home country. He will face Alexandre Muller in the first-round.

Muller got through his first-round match with a fine straight sets win over Camilo Ugo. He threatened to stage an upset against Daniil Medvedev in the next round but eventually lost out in three close sets. He has risen to a high of 39 in the world rankings and has the game to trouble an out-of-form Zverev.

Zverev did win their only previous match against each other at the US Open last year, and we’re backing him to do the same, though he may not have things all his own way.
